The temporal nature of these procedures is a huge draw for individuals who haven't yet made up their minds about a permanent look. It helps the patient experience their new look to see if it fits them so they can make a more permanent decision later. 

Cheap But Risky

Liquid rhinoplasty procedures can go from a few hundred dollars to over ten thousand dollars. The difference in pricing depends on where you get it, the units of filler used, the expertise of the person offering the service, and geographic location.

The ads and liquid rhinoplasty videos on social media, especially on TikTok, can make the procedure seem simple. The truth is the risks are pretty high, and most social media videos won't tell you that. Some of the most common risks include losing your nose skin and blindness. The nose has a huge network of arteries leading to the eyes, and one move can lead to irreversible damage. 

Where To Get One

"Even with the risk, it is terrifying that you can get a liquid rhinoplasty almost anywhere, including a dermatologist's office. Doctors, nurses, and dentists are qualified to perform these procedures after proper training. But it doesn't mean you should jump on the first practitioner who claims to do so," says Texas plastic surgeon Olga Bachilo. 

If you must have one, go for a board-certified plastic surgeon, particularly one with rhinoplasty as a focus area. In most cases, a qualified plastic surgery practitioner will be relatively more expensive than other practitioners. Still, the cost will be worth it because you can have a better assurance of safety during the procedure.
