London-based health technology company 01Health has raised €12.9 million ($15 million) in a Series A funding round to support its growth across the United Kingdom and expand into the United States.
The investment was led by Gresham House Ventures, with backing from existing investors Balderton Capital, Eka Ventures, and Wavemaker360. Several angel investors also joined the round, including Blockchain.com co-founder Nicolas Cary.
Founded in 2022 by Dr. Sonia Szamocki, 01Health helps local healthcare providers offer specialist medical services that are often only available in large hospitals or major cities. The company aims to make advanced treatments easier to access by bringing care closer to patients' homes.
Its platform provides clinics with treatment protocols, clinical guidance, workflow management tools, patient communication features, operational support, and patient acquisition services through a single system. This allows healthcare providers to deliver specialist treatments more efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
The newly secured funding will be used to strengthen the company’s platform, support international expansion, and increase access to specialist healthcare services. 01Health has already started working with healthcare providers in the United States and recently appointed a Head of US Commercial Operations to lead its efforts in the market.
As demand for specialist healthcare continues to rise, the company believes local clinics can play a larger role in delivering advanced treatments. By helping providers expand their services, 01Health aims to reduce travel requirements for patients, improve access to care, and ease pressure on hospital systems.
