Grunt, an on-demand hardware supply and material delivery app built to serve contractors, property managers, and homeowners, is continuing to revolutionize the marketplace as more businesses adopt faster, more reliable ways to keep projects moving.

Designed to eliminate unnecessary store runs and downtime, Grunt connects users with vetted local drivers who can pick up materials from retailers and suppliers and deliver them within hours.

Among the app’s growing number of advocates is Chris Tilley, a recently retired real estate professional with a wealth of experience in property management, investment, and operations. As with many of its users, Tilley first encountered Grunt as a swift solution to a practical problem.

What really piqued my interest in Grunt was a security issue we had last year. We needed signs printed and installed immediately, and there was no way to get them from Destin to Panama City Beach in time. My office administrator suggested using Grunt. I knew about the company and about Martin, but we had never used the service before. It completely saved us in that situation.

That experience gave Tilley firsthand insight into how Grunt functions as a practical solution to unexpected needs and setbacks. The app allows users to upload store receipts, select vehicle type, communicate with drivers in real time, and schedule deliveries without leaving the job site-features commonly found in modern on-demand delivery apps across industries.

For contractors and property managers, this means staying focused on deadlines while avoiding traffic, long lines, and delayed retail delivery windows.

At that point, I knew Martin was going to be successful with this. After I retired, I had the opportunity to use the relationships I built in Panama City Beach to share the Grunt brand. The feedback has been incredible. It’s been 100 percent positive, and I’m really looking forward to this tourist season and what Grunt is going to do over the next few months.”

Tilley is actively introducing Grunt to businesses throughout Panama City Beach and Panama City, walking owners and operators through how the platform works and where it fits into their daily operations. His outreach focuses on helping businesses understand how Grunt supports both last-minute and scheduled deliveries while remaining affordable and easy to use.

Grunt’s usefulness extends into large-scale residential renovations and homeowner-managed projects. Tilley’s daughter, two-time contestant on the television show, The Bachelor, who has gone on to become a huge social media influencer with over a million followers, Becca Tilley, experienced firsthand the logistical challenges of coordinating contractors, furniture deliveries, and last-minute material needs during a major home renovation in Los Angeles.

Becca’s known Martin as long as I have and thinks very highly of him. When I explained the Grunt concept to her, she had just finished a home renovation in Los Angeles and immediately said she wished something like this had been available during the project. Contractors constantly needed items picked up, furniture moved, or last-minute deliveries. When she was home over the holidays, we had dinner with Martin and Kyle, and she told them she wanted to be involved and help however she could.”

For Tilley, Grunt is a tool he wished were around years ago during his career in real estate. He also attributes the app’s growing momentum to the careful development behind the platform and its founder’s long-term approach.

It’s been fascinating to watch this develop. I’ve known Martin for a long time, and he’s always been an exceptional problem solver. That’s really been the key to Grunt. He’s a perfectionist and incredibly patient, and he’s built this product without the flaws you’d normally expect. As he often says, he’s checked every box. The product is ready to take off, and that’s a direct result of the attention to detail and care he’s put into it. I think people are going to be very pleased with it and use it often.

With demand rising across construction, property management, and home improvement sectors, Grunt continues to expand as a reliable on-demand delivery partner throughout the region.
