Jaafar Jackson Stars as Michael Jackson in Teaser for 'Michael' Biopic

The first teaser for the upcoming Michael Jackson movie, Michael, has just been released, giving fans a sneak peek at what’s to come.

The teaser features Jaafar Jackson, the nephew of Michael Jackson and son of Jermaine Jackson, playing his famous uncle. In the clip, Jaafar sports MJ’s iconic look and is shown performing dance routines, shooting music videos for hits like Thriller and Don’t Stop 'Til You Get Enough, and recording in the studio with Quincy Jones, played by Kendrick Sampson.

The film promises to give viewers “a front-row seat to Michael Jackson like never before,” according to its official description. It will follow his journey from leading the Jackson 5 to becoming a groundbreaking solo artist. The movie will showcase some of his most famous live performances and moments from his life outside of music.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer), the cast includes Juliano Krue Valdi as young Michael, Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson, and Nia Long as Katherine Jackson. Other notable cast members are Kat Graham as Diana Ross, Miles Teller as lawyer John Branca, and Laura Harrier as music executive Suzanne de Passe.
