On Dec 5, 2025 at a private Christmas party in the White House, Irakli Kvergelidze – the CEO of Orbi Group and Tornike Janashvili, the CEO of Block Group were present. They had received a special invitation from former U.S. president Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump.

The night’s entertainment included a concert by the world-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli in the East Room, and then a reception by members of the United States Marine Band and seasonal treats prepared by White House chefs. There were less than 150 guests, which included senior U.S. officials such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. High-profile gatherings like this continue to highlight how the White House remains a central stage for influential business and cultural moments.

The gathering, which was themed around music and holiday cheer, was co-hosted by Mark Advent, an international developer who has taken on major projects like the New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It was an evening in celebration of friendship, culture and the spirit of Christmas, he said.

Kvergelidze also described Bocelli’s performance as very emotional and the occasion as warm and elegant. Under his leadership Orbi Group has grown to become one of Georgia’s leading real-estate firms, boasting projects in Batumi and new developments that are imminent through partnerships with Cipriani and Advent Allen International.

Janashvili also described the positive mood, referring to it as a unique time of togetherness and jubilation. Following the White House, the Georgian CEOs had business meetings with Advent and his partner Bill Allen to meet on new development for entertainment resorts, including a large-scale Las Vegas project.

Among their upcoming projects, one highlight is a $190 million “Top Gun”-themed attraction under construction on the Las Vegas Strip that was inspired by the hit films. They say the project will be a high-impact, immersive experience, in keeping with Advent’s style.

The night finished with sincere appreciation for the time spent and promises of more recent encounters. Advent saluted the Georgian hosts as “exemplary ambassadors of their country’s burgeoning expression in hospitality and business.”
