Freshworks has named Kady Srinivasan as its new CMO, to oversee marketing initiatives globally. She joins with more than 15 years of experience building category-leading SaaS companies and will help drive the growing AI-informed products at Freshworks.

Kady Srinivasan will be responsible for marketing strategy globally in her new position. She will report to Mika Yamamoto, Chief Integrated Customer Growth Officer, who remains responsible for marketing, commercial operations and customer support.

Growth and Customer Focused Leadership

Srinivasan’s background makes her a strong fit for the company's next stage, Freshworks said. She’s managed big marketing teams and built systems that enable sustainable growth across product-led, inbound and enterprise sales models.

Leaders at the company also liked her focus in maintaining customer needs in the center of brand and marketing decisions — something that gels with Freshworks’ own values.

Experience Across High-growth SaaS Companies

Prior to Freshworks, Srinivasan was the Chief Marketing Officer of You.com and Lightspeed Commerce. While at Lightspeed, she worked to enhance the entire company’s performance from growing market share, improving marketing efficiency and supporting strong year-over-year growth. The company also achieved a significant profitability benchmark during the period.

She previously held senior marketing roles at Klaviyo and Owlet Baby Care. Srinivasan also mentors new AI startups and serves as a venture advisor, so she has a view both on early-stage and large-scale growth.

Focus on AI-driven Service Solutions

Srinivasan says she’s looking forward to joining Freshworks at a point in time when service and support software is changing rapidly. She cited the company’s emphasis on simple, practical tools that enable its customers to work better without added complexity.

Freshworks Expands Its Service Portfolio

Freshworks is still expanding its product portfolio. In December 2025, it was reported that the company would acquire FireHydrant, a company focused on incident management software. The deal would combine IT service and IT operations tools in one platform to help businesses cut disruptions and manage systems more smoothly.

The company’s leaders said that this action was meant to accommodate healthy growth in its workforce experience and IT service businesses, while making it easier for customers to manage technology.
