The Kraft Heinz Company has officially named the addition of three veteran executives to its leadership team. The Board of Directors have been extended following the appointment of L.Kevin Cox, Mary Lou Kelly and Tony Palmer, effective October 22, 2025. The move appeared as a calculated step ahead of the company’s split into two independently distinct traded businesses.

The Executive Chair Miguel Patricio called it “critical step”, pointing at the game-changing push towards stronger leadership and bold transformation. The board gains targeted experience with the newly added members – Cox’s skills in organizational leadership, Kelly’s digital retail and consumer insights and Palmer’s global brand strategy.  According to the CEO Carlos Abrams-Rivera, the shared experiences of these new board members across various sectors will be instrumental in realizing the company’s dual entity-strategy.

Kraft Heinz has reported $26 billion in sales for 2024, laying its foundation for sustained expansion, in terms of long-term growth. The newly refreshed team of Board members reflects a bold new phase signalling a forward-looking shift in strategy.
