Freshworks appoints Ashwin Ballal as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). With decades of experience, Ballal will lead the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and operations.

Freshworks is thrilled to announce the appointment of Ashwin Ballal as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Ballal brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent nearly three decades in leadership roles across various industries.

Ballal's impressive resume includes stints at KLA-Tencor, where he rose to the position of Vice President & Chief Information, Intelligence and Data Officer, and Medallia, where he served as EVP & Chief Information Officer. At Medallia, he played a key role in transforming IT and security, as well as leading workplace services, corporate procurement, and travel initiatives.

In his new role at Freshworks, Ballal will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure, systems, and operations. He'll work closely with Prasad Ramakrishnan, who's retiring as CIO at the end of the quarter, to ensure a seamless transition.
