Fox Corporation Announces Division of Entertainment Studio into Three Segments

On March 27th, Fox Corporation (FOXA.O) unveiled a comprehensive restructuring plan for its entertainment studio, marking a strategic pivot towards a more streamlined and focused operational model. The restructuring will see the division organized into three distinct business segments: entertainment, television and streaming platforms, and worldwide sales and licensing, each with its own dedicated leadership team.

Heading the newly formed Fox Entertainment Studios is Fernando Szew, an industry veteran renowned for his leadership at MarVista Entertainment and Fox Entertainment Global. With his wealth of experience and track record of success, Szew is poised to steer the studio towards new heights of creativity and innovation.

Michael Thorn, previously serving as president of scripted programming for Fox Entertainment, has been appointed to lead Fox Television Network. Thorn's extensive background in television production and programming positions him well to drive the network's content strategy and development efforts.

Tony Vassiliadis, executive vice president of Fox Entertainment Global, will assume the role of interim leader for the sales unit on an interim basis. With his deep understanding of the global media landscape and proven expertise in sales and licensing, Vassiliadis is tasked with maximizing revenue opportunities and expanding Fox's footprint in key markets worldwide.
