SEO and content depicted as hero and heroine battling AI and spammers

If you are also reading or watching videos related to SEO is dead because AI is replacing it to rule the market, then you bet you cannot miss this blog. This one is a must-read blog for all of you who are either panicked or thrilled with the trending #SEODead

Just imagine SEO is dead, which means more than half of the stats of Google will disappear into thin air. And, if that happens, then Google Ads will get under immense pressure. However, let us not take the trouble of imagining it, because this will never happen. Why? Because, at present, Google is one of the most significant and ruling search engines and has stayed the same for more than a decade. So, even if AI transforms, there is no chance that it can crumble Google’s dominance globally.

No claim stands too long against Google. Here is why-

Google has already faced a lot, especially over the last 10 years. Two major IT agencies launched a search engine and promoted it, claiming that their algorithm is superior to Google's. Then, some unknown developers developed an article spinning tool to arrange more content, thereby creating web pages or blogs more quickly. A social media platform claimed a few years ago that it was going to launch a search engine, and, as always they too delivered nothing. Rather, the same social media platform has been in decline over the last 5-6 years.

Google is going to put all of its efforts into maintaining its quality to remain at the top. Likewise, everyone must keep the website to the highest standards. While sticking to the stringent guidelines.

Coming back to the topic - SEO & Content SYNC.

AI tools are fast, delivering results in a short time, so our Gen Zs are using them repeatedly.

Nowadays, learning and implementing have become relatively easy, especially for the new generation Gen Zs. They are getting better at prompting ChatGPT for the best results. It’s good that they are getting the knowledge and results they want. However, it is not feasible every time, especially when you need time, effort, and teamwork for implementation, such as in SEO.

To make this simpler, let me quote the same in context with a love story, so that a Gen Z reading this blog can understand what I am trying to say:

  • Hero of the Story -  SEO.

  • Herione - Content.

  • Villains - Spammers, SEO Family, Negative SEO, etc.

Importance of content in SEO

Just like every love story, when the hero meets the heroine, it becomes his duty to make her feel important. This becomes the core of his life. Similarly, content is also very important for SEO. Even the experts quote, “Content is King”.

It is a well-known fact that amidst a seemingly idyllic love story, there must be a villain or villains. A love story is incomplete without a villain. In this universe, villains come in the form of ranking, recurrently changing algorithms, and so much more. Staying at the top of all this is difficult, but SEO does it successfully.

Similarly, at Webomaze- the SEO Agency in Australia, we also thrive in these challenges. We ranked thousands of keywords at the top for clients in Australia, the USA, the UK, Canada, INDIA, and from other part fo the world. For the best SEO in Melbourne, you can contact us.

Listing a few SEOs real life villains:

SEO is facing villains almost every day, & I am listing out a few of the famous villains in the story are:

1st - Spammers are the oldest enemies of Professional SEOs:
They are the oldest, they are the smartest, they conquered the Algo many times to get quick top results, but for a very small period. Now they've been hit by Google at least twice every year.

2nd- SEO Family (Negative SEOs, Fresher SEOs, sometimes experienced too):

It’s going to hurt many, but it’s true. SEO results are achievable, traffic & leads too for live business, but due to unawareness of the Negative SEO many digital businesses face damage and instability. It surely has a very minimal impact, but can hurt when competitors are big & the industry is competitive.

Sometimes, a good running project is hampered by mistakes made by a new team or freshers. Bulk postings by team members on the affected websites can significantly impact the website's performance of the project.

3rd - Content Writers (sometimes):

Not to blame, but my point of view here is that sometimes digital content writers skip basic research. They even at times miss the edge as they focus solely on optimizing the content for SEO by adding more and more keywords, while forgetting to maintain the content quality.

4th - Google Ads (sometimes):

Google Ads: The core of generating revenue. They are not the real enemy, but sometimes they hurt us. Let me share some scenarios.

1st: Flipkart customers are already in millions; they can simply focus on direct users, but no, they have a budget for text ads for PLAs, which acquire a good percentage share of the first page.

5th and Latest - AI Hype:
& the latest villain is AI (Latest, not the last villain).

AI is a hype & will not last long. The maximum lifespan is 5-6 years. For me, it’s an upgraded version of spinning tools. The reasons are:

  1. Show me any AI results for Commercial keywords that are affecting Google Ads or SEO clients?
  2. Even blog references are directed towards famous websites, offering nothing new (this feature is not even comparable to 'People Also Ask' or Feature snippets).
  3. Generate an image with an incorrect prompt, and you will get a hilarious result.
  4. Generate content using AI tools, and you will see similar content patterns & sometimes use of unwanted phrases in the content.
  5. Standing nowhere close to any analyst who believes in manual research & at the end all the data they took from the data, blogs, or case studies which are present online means taking from us.

In simple terms, AI only gives credit to the live links. Nothing special in algorithms, and all rumours are going to die before SEO.Similar to every other story, ‘Villains’ like AI and many more will keep coming and going. The negativity always keeps evolving, and gets stronger every time. And, to thrive ahead of it, one can stay true to themselves. Likewise, what may come, SEO and High-Quality content are here to stay. There is no competition to these, as they are the heart of your success on Google. Keep away from spammers and scammers who try to depreciate your online presence with these silly tricks and tools. Join hands with Webomaze and let our experts help you stay on top of the results.
