John Force has made a triumphant return to the racing scene after a severe crash in 2024 that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. While he hasn't resumed racing yet, his presence at the track is a refreshing sight for fans as he supports his team, John Force Racing.
In a recent social media update, Force shared his excitement: "Hi, this is John Force, here at Bradenton. It feels great to be back at the races. I stopped by Vegas and Pomona, and we had some fantastic weekends. Seeing Brittany over there in her Monster Energy car is especially thrilling."
He continued, highlighting his team members: "I'm here with Jack Beckman, who is eager to get back in action and start competing. I’m pumped for Brittany; she made two runs today and is currently the fastest. But it’s still early in the week, and many teams from PRO are here."
Reflecting on the Bradenton track's history, Force reminisced: "I raced here during the early days, and I loved every moment of it. That's why I wanted to return."
Force also noted the impressive performance of his team, mentioning, "Prock is over next door; he won the championship in the Cornwell Tools Chevrolet, and Beckman finished second in the Peak Chevrolet. We have a lot of sponsors to connect with here."
As he chatted with Beckman, Force added humorously, "We were swapping stories, and he doesn’t believe any of them, which is understandable, but it’s been a lot of fun. I promised to make this video for my daughter, Ashley, although I got lost for an hour."
Looking ahead to the 2025 NHRA season, Force confirmed that he would not be returning to the driver’s seat just yet and that Jack Beckman would continue to fill in for him this year. "I’m still in therapy weekly and working hard to get back out there with the sponsors and fans in this sport I love and miss. I have plenty more to achieve, so don't think you've seen the last of John Force. We’ll have more updates after the holidays."
Force expressed his excitement about his ongoing partnerships, saying, "I am thrilled to continue working with PEAK and BlueDEF and look forward to returning to JFR in 2025. As a car enthusiast, I trust their products for both personal and professional use, ensuring reliability and performance in our support vehicles and haulers."
