Field Safe's health and safety programs provide protection beyond just at-risk employees. They are grounded in a foundation of innovation that is reinforced by technology and continuously generates value across an organization.

Under the leadership of CEO Cameron Barrett, the Field Safe team has cultivated a culture of innovation that supports its position as the market leader in health and safety technologies. Clients benefit from this culture through time and cost savings, as well as improved safety.

With over 25 years of experience, Cameron held leadership sales roles with industry-leading technology companies, including President of Computer Sciences Canada. Cameron earned an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, an MSc in Law from Abraham Lincoln University, and an ICD.D certification from the Rotman School of Business. Currently, he is the Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee for the Huntington Society of Canada. Cameron is passionate about volunteerism to support meaningful causes and making a positive impact.

Field Safe enables real-time data transmission from the field to safeguard at-risk personnel and boost operational efficiency. The company helps clients reduce time, costs, and safety incidents.

Another of Cameron's passions is continuously generating value, which he believes will ensure Field Safe's success and increased safety for client workforces. To create value, he follows two guiding principles.

The first principle is that value creation starts with people. Cameron says strong companies are built on great people with a shared purpose. Since becoming CEO in 2018, he has assembled a talented team that has established Field Safe as an industry leader despite pandemic economic challenges and start-up hurdles. He credits employees, clients, partners, and an outstanding board and advisory board.

The second principle is that Cameron is steadfast in his belief that embracing digital transformation for at-risk workers, powered by technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, holds immense potential to revolutionize health and safety practices, leading to more efficient operations and enhanced worker safety. He emphasizes that innovation is at the core of Field Safe's approach, driving the company to continually push boundaries and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions. By instilling a mindset of innovation among employees, Field Safe strives to offer best-in-class technology, bringing clients closer to their objective of achieving zero incidents.

Cameron’s advice to someone who wants to be a leader is straightforward. By surrounding yourself with a great team, you create value for your clients, team, and community.

"A leader knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way."
